We are a well established Junior football club situated in Kelso, a suburb in North Queensland's city of Townsville. Our Senior football club the Ross River Senior FC is a well respected and highly competative club within the NQ fraternity. This allows us to field teams from U5 through to Premier League.
By comparison we are a smaller club, but our focus remains firmly on the development and welfare of our regions children, within a safe, secure and enjoyable environment. At present, we cater for around 150 players, ranging from Under 6 through to Under 16 and Colts. We are always seeking, and welcome, additional players of all age groups as the Crocs are actively recruiting throughout the pre-season period.
This year promises to be yet another exciting period for our young Crocs, with many club developments and advancements planned for our members. The Crocs Club would sincerely enjoy sharing this years adventures with all of you! So come on down to the Crocs clubhouse and say "G'day". Our canteen and bar caters for all who attend during our training times, at our famous Annual Carnival and at all club functions throughout the season. Hope we see you at the club!
To keep abreast of the functions, carnivals and general news within the Crocs please continue to visit our site. Why not put us in your "Favourites" right now!
Our fortnightly Club Bar-B-Q's will commence on the 2nd Thursday of training in 2013. This is a great opportunity for all the new Crocs to meet all the old Crocs. Have an easy night each fortnight and grab a sausage sanga, a cold drink and a warm chat. Non members are most welcome to come down and enjoy the Croc's hospitality. Go on, give the cook the night off every second Thursday at your Club
Rug Rats will kick off very shortly after training commences for 2013. Every 2nd Thursday at training our mini Crocs battle it out in the Rug Rats Premier League, held at the Clubhouse. These matches are held in conjunction with our fortnightly Bar-B-Q.
When you are a Ross River Croc, You don't just Rule, You Rock!
